We were busy this weekend and I have some more specific blogs coming, but for now enjoy the pictures...
Hanging out after a long day
I have been looking for a nice, big pitcher for 2 years....found this at the antique mall for (get this) $8.

Moss Garden (I've been keeping these secret from some people because they were gifties, but I don't have to anymore).

I planted about 8 saffron crocus 2 years ago, and this is what happened!!!

Love the pic of the pitcher. It reminds me of one my Grandmother made.
That moss garden is fantastic! Now I want one!
I was soooo tickled to find that pitcher.
The moss gardens have been testy. I started 6, one took off immediately. The other 5 have been tempermental and I've had to tinker with them, replace some of the moss, dirt, and change the light/watering scheme to see what happens. Work in progress.
There's another pic of the others on my 5 6 2009 weekly update post.
A certain male friend who visited us recently told me about your moss terrariums. Neat! I love the idea!
indeed
