Squash I Have Known

I have several winter squash growing this year. Last year, vine borers killed all my vines. This year, I think I've gotten to most of them WITH A BIG, POINTY KNIFE before they could get to me.

This is a triamble, sometimes called a shamrock, due to the three lobes.
I believe this is on the pumpkin vine I have. The baby on the left didn't make it.
I have no idea what this is. Some of the seed I planted came from a friend, and I haven't looked at the packets again recently to refresh my memory.
This is the one I've really been looking forward to: Guatamalan Blue Banana squash!
I *think* this is an Australian Butter, but it *may* be a variety called Galeaux d'Eysines.

Looks like you've got some squash! I was so looking forward to mine(Sweet dumpling and the round zucchinis) but they didn't make it. Next year...

I've been really watching for problems, issues and insects like a hawk. I did plant some regular zuchinni, but none have appeared yet. I don't know why.

Looks like your third picture is a Buttercup. All of them are looking very healthy.

My set-out squash and pumpkin plants died of hypothermia this year. I was silly enough to then plant seeds but they got such a late start nothing is going to make it. They're always a struggle up here in the tundra (!) but this year was a total bust.

As all of us gardeners say frequently: Next year!

I thought that might be a buttercup, but I didn't know they had that spot on their butts like that. As though the skin/shell didn't grow there....

your patch is awesome! Makes me want to visit early.

My vines are starting to die, but my fruits are well matured. I figure I will give them this week with all the sun we are "supposed" to get, and then I will cull a few. I have new ones growing still. Last count was 21!

I have some new ones, too, but the vines on some that are NOT ready to pick yet are dying. I think the vine borers got them....dammit.
