We had a couple visitors this morning. A Canadian goose couple wandered into the upper yard today. It was raining, there are some ponds nearby. I assume they lost the group somehow.
They wandered around for an hour or so, then I heard them fly honkingly by the house.
Too bad. I was kind of hoping they'd stay.

That was nice. We now have a pair of Mallards that stop by everyday in the little creek at the back of our house. We saw 3 Wood Ducks a few days ago but I don't know if they would come back.
