Aw, gee, Jody, thank you. I don't care what anybody says . . . ANYTHING emerging from the soil at this time of the year needs to be showcased! (Well, maybe not the weeds though.)
I actually had to CUT some of them today, a few were even 18" tall. I couldn't believe it! They are 2 week earlier this year.
Beautiful purple-green goodness!
We made our first harvest yesterday! I walked up there and what was an inch or so out of the ground on Sunday was....18" yesterday!!! Asparagus for dinner tonight! I couldn't believe how many we got out in one day.
