I'm going to start posting pictures of finished work in 10-day to two-week intervals, just to show the process AND progress.
Day 1: Max helped by getting in the way. Here I am (I KNOW! A picture of ME!) putting the washers and nuts on the all-thread through the plates that the walls will sit on.

Day 2: Wall one. Oh, and the beam in the middle which will hold the horizontal beam. Also notice the header for a future door:

Day 3: Wall two.

Day 4: Beginning the opening for the 12-ft garage door. Just need to build the head beam. He also put in the landing for the staircase:

Day 5: Prepping the wall in the back:

Day 6 & 7 nothing got done.
Day 8: Header for the garage door built and in place:

Day 9 & 10 nothing got done, too rainy. That brings us up-to-date, believe it or not. Day 10 was yesterday, Monday the 23rd.

Holy cow, it's a picture of you! :)
What a great web log. I spend hours on the net reading blogs, about tons of various subjects. I have to first of all give praise to whoever created your theme and second of all to you for writing what i can only describe as an fabulous article. I honestly believe there is a skill to writing articles that only very few posses and honestly you got it. The combining of demonstrative and upper-class content is by all odds super rare with the astronomic amount of blogs on the cyberspace.
